Additionally, more than 6.000 crew members have been newly hired. In total, we call over 15.000 crew members being part of the AIDA family,\u201d the company said in a letter sent to crew.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the company is implementing a number of other benefits for its employees including increased leave days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust before the pandemic turned the world upside down, we had implemented several improvements for our crew, which couldn\u2019t be fully utilized due to the pause of operation. Today, our crew members can benefit from reduced and more flexible contract length, free social media package and additional bandwidth at lower prices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition, AIDA Cruises is implementing the following benefits in 2023:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increased leave for the first-time crew<\/li>\n<li>Increased leave days for hotel officers<\/li>\n<li>Increased wage scale for cabin stewards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AIDA Cruises expressed gratitude to its team and said: \u201cWe would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your dedication and effort over the last year.
